Token boards are a great tool to use with students with disabilities to reward them for appropriate behavior or complete tasks. It provides a visual reminder of what the student is working for. Simply print, laminate, and add some Velcro dots! They are wonderful to have in both the special education and general classroom.
Give the student a variety of rewards to choose from. When they have selected one, attach it to the board. Each time they meet an expectation, or a behavior goal, place a token on their chart. When the student earns the set number of tokens on the chart, they receive their reward.
