HHS Provider Relief Fund $135.1B

The Provider Relief Fund (PRF) supports healthcare providers in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act; the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act (PPPCHEA); the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act; and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the federal government has allocated $186.5 billion in payments to be distributed through the PRF.

This dataset represents the list of providers that received a payment from the PRF and who have attested to receiving one or more payments and agreed to the Terms and Conditions.

HHS Uninsured Relief Fund $18.8B

The COVID-19 Claims Reimbursement to Health Care Providers and Facilities for Testing, Treatment, and Vaccine Administration for the Uninsured Program provides reimbursements on a rolling basis directly to eligible health care entities for claims that are attributed to the testing, treatment, and/or vaccine administration of COVID-19 for uninsured individuals.

HHS RHC Testing & Mitigation $632M

Rural Health Clinics are a special designation given to health care practices in underserved rural areas by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that help ensure access to care for rural residents. The federal government allocated payments to be distributed through the Rural Health Clinic COVID-19 Testing and Mitigation (RHCCTM) Program as mandated by the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021 and through the Rural Health Clinic COVID-19 Testing (RHCCT) Program as mandated by the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act (PPPHCEA).

HHS Coverage Assistance Fund $25.2M

The COVID-19 Coverage Assistance Fund (CAF) is covering the costs of administering COVID-19 vaccines to underinsured patients, meaning those whose health insurance either doesn’t cover vaccine administration fees, or does but typically with patient cost-sharing. Since patients cannot be billed directly for COVID-19 vaccine fees, health care providers on the front lines administering COVID-19 vaccines to underinsured patients may seek fee reimbursements through CAF, subject to available funding.
